It's the easiest to ride among all our scooters, eliminating the need for balancing or a kickstand, thanks to its wide track design.

14 STX has replaced the dual 20Ah batteries in the Rebel Trike with a single 35Ah battery located under the seat. There is no longer a battery beneath the floorboard. The range remains more than two rounds of golf on a single charge. This change has also allowed for increased clearance under the floorboard.

AT THIS TIME WE ARE SHIPPING APPROX. 2 WEEKS AFTER RECEIPT OF ORDER.

Please note that orders for the 14 STX Golf Scooter require 5-7 business days for processing. The product needs to be uncrated, inspected, undergo final preparation, and have any requested options added before it can be re-crated and shipped.

The Fat Tire Golf Scooter ships 95% assembled. You’ll need to attach the rear wheels, handlebars and Bag Holder. Charges with standard 110v outlet. You can plug the scooter in directly, or take the battery out and charge it separately. Approximately 25 mile range and takes 6 – 8 hours to charge.

All of our golf scooters can be “locked” at approx.. 15 mph for course safety. Individual purchasers can unlock that feature for up to 20 mph on the Trike and 25 mph on the 2-wheel models.

Will it harm the course?

The Fat Tire Golf Scooter is very "turf friendly", with large tires and very light weight, it is less damaging than a traditional golf cart.

Can we lease the Fat Tire Golf Scooter?

Yes. Courses can purchase or lease the Fat Tire Golf Scooter. In most cases the rentals at the course will easily cover the monthly lease cost.

How long does it take to charge the Fat Tire Golf Scooter?

Our Lithium Ion batteries take about 6 hours to fully charge. Keeping extra fully charged batteries ready allows the course to quickly (15 - 20 seconds) swap out the battery to keep the scooters in constant service and generating revenue.

How many rounds can we expect on a single charge?

Our Rebel and Rebel Trike have a 35ah battery and will get over 36 holes on a charge. Our Cruiser 3.0 has a single 20ah battery for up to 36 holes (additional “quick-swap” battery available). Terrain and rider weight will affect range.

How fast does the Fat Tire Golf Scooter go?

Speed varies per model. Top speed on the Rebel Trike is approx. 21mph. Rattler, Cruiser 3.0, and Rowdy top speeds are approx. 25 mph. For course rentals, the Rebel and Cruiser can be "locked" at the lower speed setting (approx. 15mph) if requested.

Will going through water or over obstacles damage the scooter?

Although we recommend avoiding obstacles and being extremely careful in the rain, wet fairways, and mud, the Fat Tire Golf Scooter is designed to be used in wet conditions.

What about safety and liability?

We have a safety and rider training video on the website in conjunction with a liability release form. Golfers can watch a short video, answer some basic questions and sign the release right on the website. Both your course and Fat Tire Golf Scooter will receive a copy of the release.

Warranty is for parts-only and DOES NOT INCLUDE labor, shipping costs, or transportation of the unit to/from any repair facility

One-Year Limited Parts Warranty

RETURN & REFUND POLICY

Returns are allowed within 30 days and are subject to a 20% restocking fee. Product must be returned undamaged and in original shipping material. Return freight cost is responsibility of purchaser.

Product received damaged must be noted with the freight carrier delivering the scooter at time of delivery.

Does it fold flat for SUV?

According to the manufacturer, none of their scooters are foldable. Most people ride them to the course, play a round, then ride back home. If you need to transport it, you would require either a truck, a trailer, or a motorcycle hitch carrier

Does this model have independent wheels in the back of the scooter

Wheel are driven independently through a differential transfer case but it does not have independent rear suspension. Wheels and motor are mounted to a rear swing-arm with dual shocks.

Is there a conversion kit to make this cart street legal?

No, we sell as off-road only. Side of road, cart paths, bike lanes (where permissible by law), golf and gated communities, but not "in traffic"

What are the main differences between the 14 STX Rebel Trike Golf Scooter and the Rattler Trike Golf Scooter?

Rebel Trike is the easiest to ride. No balance required. Wider, solid rear axle. Approx. 21 mph top speed.

Rattler rides and tilts like a 2-wheeler so some riding experience is suggested. Benefit over Cruiser 2-wheeler is the 2 wheels in back make it a bit more stable in case of gravel or wet grass, and no kickstand needed. Tilt lock MUST be released when riding and is only activated when parking the unit. Top speed is approx. 25 mph.
