What you get in return is spin that is measured rather than estimated.
The Portable Option: NEO-E
The NEO-E is for golfers who do not want to commit a room. It weighs a little over six pounds, uses three cameras, and has a touchscreen built into the unit, so you can see your numbers without a computer in front of you. It works indoors or outdoors, and an IP65 water and dust rating plus around five hours of battery means the range and the backyard are both fair game. It reads any ball straight out of the sleeve with no marked balls needed, and optional club stickers unlock deeper club numbers like impact point and face angle. It ships with NVISAGE's Murlie software, which covers shot analysis, a driving range, putting, and recording.
Software: Your Choice, Not Theirs
Neither unit is locked into one platform. Both work with GSPro and E6 Connect, two of the most widely used simulator programs, which opens up hundreds of courses and a full practice range. Because you pick the software, you are not tied to one company's course library or its release schedule.
What Your Computer Needs
Worth knowing before you order: both NVISAGE units run on Windows and are not compatible with Mac. Simulator software is demanding, so the processor, memory, and graphics card matter more than most people expect, and the computer is the detail that trips up first-time builds more often than anything else. Sorting it out alongside the launch monitor saves a frustrating week after delivery.
