Auto-Open Push Carts: Nitron, Nitron LTD, and Slimfold
These three carts share Bag Boy's nitrogen-powered auto-open system. Pull a lever and the cart opens itself, no wrestling with a folded frame. The Nitron is the standard version, built for dependable everyday use. The Nitron LTD uses the same nitrogen system with an upgraded finish for golfers who want a nicer-looking cart. The Slimfold runs the same auto-open mechanism in a narrower frame, built to save space in a trunk or garage.
Four-Wheel Carts: Quad Pro and Quad XL
Both the Quad Pro and Quad XL use a four-wheel design for extra stability, a wider base than Bag Boy's three-wheel models, and an ergonomic handle. The Quad Pro folds into a more compact package. The Quad XL trades some of that compactness for a larger storage area. A disc golf version of the Quad XL is also available, built with the same four-wheel base and larger wheels suited to rougher terrain.
Three-Wheel Carts: Compact 3 and TriSwivel II
The Compact 3 is Bag Boy's smallest folding cart, built to collapse down into tight storage spaces without sacrificing a sturdy frame. The TriSwivel II uses a 360-degree swiveling front wheel, which makes tight turns and uneven terrain easier to manage than a fixed front wheel allows.
Express 500
The Express 500 is Bag Boy's straightforward, no-frills option: a durable frame, a built-in beverage holder, and simple folding, without the auto-open mechanism or four-wheel base of the other models.
Volt Electric Cart
The Volt is Bag Boy's electric cart, offering motorized assistance so you're not pushing at all. It runs on battery power with enough range to cover a full round, and its frame is built to match the rest of the lineup rather than looking like an outlier.
Finding the Right Bag Boy Cart
If you want the least effort possible, the Volt is the only electric option. Among the manual carts, the choice mostly comes down to wheels and setup speed. Three-wheel carts (Compact 3, TriSwivel II) fold smaller and turn tighter. Four-wheel carts (Quad Pro, Quad XL) trade some of that compactness for extra stability. If you'd rather skip folding a frame altogether, the auto-open carts (Nitron, Nitron LTD, Slimfold) handle that step for you.
