Warranty Policy
2-Year Warranty
At Robera, we stand behind the quality of our products and are committed to providing exceptional service. Our warranty policy outlines the terms and conditions of our warranty coverage, ensuring that your experience with our products remains worry-free.
To ensure a smooth process for warranty support, please keep your purchase receipt, invoice, and other relevant paperwork for your Robera product as proof of purchase for future service inquiries. This will help us provide fast and efficient service in case of a warranty claim. Please note that only purchase receipts issued by Robera or distributors authorized by Robera are valid for warranty. All refunds, returns, and replacements will only be processed after the original products have been received and inspected at our local warehouse.
1. Warranty Duration and Coverage
Robera's warranty is valid from the date of purchase and covers the following components:
- Golf Cart Body, Battery, and Charger: 2-year warranty
- Accessories: 1-year warranty
2. Shipping Caddies for Robera Service/Repairs/Inspection
- Within Warranty Repairs/Inspection: If your caddy requires repair or inspection within the warranty period, we provide these services free of charge. When returning a caddy for repair or inspection under warranty, it must be packed in a suitable or original box with adequate protection. You can purchase the original packing box from us before returning the caddy to Robera repair center.Please note that until the caddy is received by Robera, we are not responsible for any damage or loss caused during transportation/shipping. Once received, it is our responsibility to ensure the caddy is safely delivered back to you.
- Outside Warranty Repairs/Inspection: For repairs or inspections outside the warranty period, all shipping, repair, and service charges will be your responsibility. The caddy must be packed in a suitable or original box with adequate protection. You can purchase the original packaging from us before returning the caddy to Robera repair center.
3. Warranty Exclusions
The following events will void the warranty:
- Any alteration performed by non-authorized people or companies.
- Fitting of parts or accessories not recommended by Robera.
- Any damage caused by continued operation of the product after it is known to be defective.
- Damage to the seat and/or seat support bracket on the unit.
- Damage caused by partial or complete ingress of water into the motor/gearbox and other major components.
- Damage caused by the unit being driven into bunkers, other course hazards, or clubhouse and carpark hazards.
- Damage caused by golf balls or golf clubs.
- Application of external force to any part of the unit or battery.
- Fusion of motor or electronics through overload or continual stationary operation.
- All implied warranties [save those preserved by statute] are excluded. Liability for consequential damages under any and all warranties is excluded to the extent exclusion is permitted by law.
The following events are not covered under warranty:
- Normal wear and tear (e.g., tires, rubber handlebar, elastic straps, paintwork, battery performance, axle threads, charging ports on batteries and remotes, screen glass, etc.).
- Minor appearance defects that do not affect the operation of the unit and are considered by the manufacturer to be within accepted standards.
4. Parts Installed During Warranty
Warranty coverage for components installed during a unit’s warranty period will last for the duration of the model's warranty period, provided the warranty installation is performed by Robera, an authorized service center, or the owner with approval.
Refund policy
At Robera, we are committed to ensuring your satisfaction with our products. Below are the details of our refund, return, and exchange policies to help you understand how we handle these requests.
1. 30-Day Return or Exchange
A. Unwanted Items (Brand New, Unused, Not Due to Quality Issues):
Cancellations or returns are not accepted for special order items or pre-orders once the order has been placed. For cancellations prior to shipment, a 6% handling and credit card processing fee will be deducted from the refund.
B. Change of Mind (Brand New, Unused, Not Due to Quality Issues)
If you wish to return or exchange an item within 30 days of delivery, the following conditions apply:
1) The item must be completely unused, in brand-new condition, and in its original packaging.
2) You are responsible for return shipping costs.
3). A return authorization must be obtained from the distributor/manufacturer through Big Horn Golfer.
4). Original shipping fee and a handling fee (approximately $120 USD) will be deducted from the refund.
C. Used Carts (Not in New Condition):
If the cart has been used (e.g., on driveways, backyards, etc.), it is no longer considered new and is subject to the following:
1). A return authorization must be obtained first.
2). The cart must be in its original packaging.
3). You are responsible for return shipping costs.
4). A restocking fee of up to 30% of the full retail price will apply.
Refusal of Shipment:
Refusing a shipment constitutes a return. The same return shipping fees apply, and the cart will be returned to the distributor/manufacturer’s warehouse for inspection. Once the return paperwork and condition of the unit are reviewed, a refund (net of applicable fees) will be issued.
D. Broken or Defective Products Within 30 Days:
If your product arrives damaged or becomes defective within 30 days, we will provide a replacement part or exchange the entire product at no additional cost to you. You will not be responsible for any charges.
2. Conditions for Returns and Exchanges
Original Condition:
Items must be returned in their original packaging, including all accessories, manuals, and parts. The product must be in resalable condition with no signs of wear or use.
Entire Golf Caddy Returns:
The golf caddy must be packed in its original packaging to ensure safe transit and proper inspection.
Proof of Purchase:
A valid receipt or proof of purchase is required for all returns and exchanges. Returns or exchanges from distributors or local stores will not be accepted.
Non-Returnable Items/Orders:
Special orders, pre-orders, Custom or personalized products, final sale items, and gift cards are not eligible for return or exchange.
3. Return Process
To initiate a return, please contact our support team at returns@bighorngolfer.com. We will guide you through the process and provide a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number if applicable.
4. Refunds
Processing Time:
Once your return is received and inspected, we will notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. Approved refunds will be processed within 3-5 business days and credited to your original payment method.
Shipping Costs:
If the return is due to a product defect or an error on our part, we will cover all shipping costs. For other returns, the original shipping and handling fees (approximately $120 USD) will not be refunded.
5. Cancellation or Change of Order Details
Online Orders:
To cancel your order or change the shipping address, contact us before the order is dispatched. Once dispatched, cancellations or changes cannot be accepted.
Kickstarter Pledge Orders:
You may cancel your pledge in your Kickstarter account before the project ends. During the last 24 hours of the campaign, cancellations or pledge reductions are not allowed. Shipping address updates are permitted before the survey is closed.
6. Warranty
Robera offers the following warranty coverage:
Golf Cart Body, Battery, and Charger: 2-year warranty.
Accessories: 1-year warranty.
Refurbished Caddy: 1-year warranty.
